NHL Hockey Goal Frame

QUED® NHL pro goal frames are constructed for repeated elite‑level use with tested steel components and a durable powder‑coat finish. Frames are available in regulation depths to fit venue needs and are shipped protected on oversized pallets. Net and pads are not included.

Challenge

Provide an elite‑level frame with robust geometry and lacing that withstands repeated loading.

Solution

Use a ~60.3 mm (2‑3/8 in) OD front pipe, welded 6.35 mm (1/4 in) lacing wire at ~63.5 mm spacing, and powder‑coat finish; offer standard depth choices.

Image

The Structure

The front pipe is bent from a single length to eliminate elbow welds and potential weak points. Depth options are approximately 1.12 m or 0.864 m (44 in or 34 in) to suit installation requirements.

The Construction

Structural members include a ~60.3 mm OD (2‑3/8 in) front pipe formed from a single length, with companion bottom, top, and vertical members sized per spec. A 6.35 mm (1/4 in) solid lacing wire is welded to the frame at close spacing (~63.5 mm / 2.5 in) to accept frequent net tie‑offs. Ship weight is ~99.8 kg (220 lb) per pair.

The Operation

Anchor the frames as specified for the venue and lace the net at frequent intervals to the welded wire to distribute load and maintain geometry.
