Lacrosse Goal Frame

QUED® lacrosse goal frames are built for years of use with tested steel components and a durable powder‑coat finish. The frame geometry and welded lacing attachment support repeated net tensioning and outdoor exposure.

Challenge

Deliver a CLA‑approved frame with robust lacing attachment and long‑life construction.

Solution

Use thick‑wall steel tubes with a welded 6.35 mm (1/4 in) lacing wire at ~63.5 mm (2.5 in) intervals; finish with powder coat for durability.

The Structure

The standard frame measures approximately 1.22 × 1.22 × 1.37 m (4 × 4 × 4 ft 6 in). Welded lacing wires around the perimeter provide frequent tie‑off points for a secure net install. Net is sold separately.

The Construction

Bottom members use ~50.5 mm (1.99 in) tube with ~3.18 mm (0.125 in) wall. Top members and verticals use ~33.8 mm (1.33 in) tube with ~2.54 mm (0.100 in) wall. A 6.35 mm (1/4 in) solid lacing wire is welded approximately every 63.5 mm (2.5 in) to the frame. Ship weight per pair is ~45.4 kg (100 lb).

The Operation

Position frames on level ground, anchor per venue requirements, and lace the net to the welded wire at frequent intervals to distribute load.
