Pathfinder

QUED® Pathfinder illustrates a simple configuration of Tike Site components that fosters children’s confidence as they improve balance, coordination, and body control—skills essential to developing autonomy.

Challenge

Provide a configurable path that develops balance, coordination, and body control.

Solution

Link soft‑play elements with 51 mm (2 in) hook‑and‑loop over reinforced ~0.61 kg/m² (18 oz/yd²) covers and ~44 ILD foam cores to create repeatable routes.

Image

The Shape

Linked soft‑play elements create a guided route with progressive tasks so educators can repeat patterns or vary the path for group and individual goals.

Image

The Construction

Each element uses a polyester‑reinforced vinyl cover (~0.61 kg/m² / 18 oz/yd²) over a ~44 ILD polyurethane foam core. Seams are inverted and cross‑stitched, with full‑width hook‑and‑loop flaps and a concealed YKK zipper.

Image

The Operation

Lay out the route on a clean, level surface. Join elements with hook‑and‑loop to prevent shifting; reorder segments to adjust task difficulty.
