Four Corners
QUED® Four Corners is a soft‑play configuration that allows children to try new skills and develop upper‑ and lower‑body strength. In this and other Tike Site arrangements, children can experiment with mild risks that build confidence as skills are mastered.
Challenge
Provide a space‑efficient arrangement that supports progressive climbing and crawling tasks.
Solution
Use four soft‑play modules in ~44 ILD foam with reinforced ~0.61 kg/m² (18 oz/yd²) covers and 51 mm (2 in) hook‑and‑loop joins to vary approach sequences.
The Shape
The set forms four adjacent activity stations that can be traversed in different sequences to encourage climbing, crawling, and stepping patterns.
The Construction
Each component uses a polyester‑reinforced vinyl cover (~0.61 kg/m² / 18 oz/yd²) over a ~44 ILD polyurethane foam core. Seams are inverted and cross‑stitched, with full‑width hook‑and‑loop flaps and a concealed YKK zipper.
The Operation
Arrange the four modules into the desired layout on a level surface. Join edges with the 51 mm (2 in) hook‑and‑loop flaps to stabilize the configuration; reorder as skills progress.
