The QUED® Walkdraw® is a track‑mounted divider curtain for simple space partitioning. It runs on our proprietary heavy‑duty double‑T aluminum track with ball‑bearing carriers for smooth travel. Panels are offered in a range of styles, colours, and weights, and typically store along a side wall or perpendicular to a wall. For multi‑section layouts, the lower 2.44 m (8 ft) can include hook‑and‑loop leading edges to close the opening after drawing sections together.

The Curtain
This curtain is simple to install and maintain and is available in a variety of styles, colours, and weights. Storage is usually at one side of the gymnasium, perpendicular to the wall or along the side of a wall if a storage area doesn’t exist. It can be supplied in two or more sections, with the lower 2.44 m (8 ft) equipped with hook‑and‑loop strips on both leading edges to facilitate closing of the curtains.
The Hardware
A custom carrier with dual sealed bearing wheels is provided every 305 mm (12 in) along the length of the curtain. A four-wheeled custom master carrier is provided at both ends to facilitate movement for opening and closing. The exclusive track is a heavy‑duty, double‑T aluminum extrusion and is typically supported at 2135 mm (7 ft) intervals and at 101 mm (4 in) intervals in the storage area. This track is durable and easily spliced and formed to suit required bends or turns, and is suitable for both nylon‑ and steel‑wheeled carriers. Splices and track clamps can be attached to the upper half of the track and will not affect smooth operation. The curtain attaches to carriers by sturdy zinc-plated jack chain allowing for adjustment for height and clearance from floor.
The Operation
Move the curtain along the overhead double‑T aluminum track on ball‑bearing carriers. Panels typically store along a wall or perpendicular to a wall; where supplied in multiple sections, the lower 2.44 m (8 ft) have hook‑and‑loop leading edges to close the opening after drawing the sections together.
Material Properties
Curtain panels fabricated from vinyl‑coated polyester or mesh per project submittals;
Compliance: Materials meet or exceed NFPA 701, CAN/ULC S109, and ASTM E84; flame‑resistance/smoke labels are attached to two edges of the curtain near floor level.
Top band: hemp stiffener concealed and quadruple sewn for grommet strength and resistance to sag.
Top attachment: stainless steel grommets at 76 mm (3 in) centres at ends and 305 mm (12 in) centres across the top edge
Side hems: approximately 50 mm (2 in) double‑sewn edges
Bottom: approximately 203 mm (8 in) pocket with leader for chain if weighted bottom is required
Single and double‑layer archery netting available for archery, hammer throw, discus, and javelin.
